Rooms at the Sigogne Keep
The Sigogne keep has 2 rooms, each with its own medieval atmosphere.
Adémar de Sigogne room (2nd floor)
The Adémar de Sigogne room is located on the second floor of the keep. It offers a spacious 30 m² and is perfectly suited to a family of four (with double beds measuring 160x200 cm and 140x190 cm). Its distinctive medieval character and warm atmosphere invite you to step back in time to the era of Sigogne’s first documented lord.
Loge des Gardes (1st floor)
The Guards’ Lodge is designed primarily as a quiet lounge with seating for up to 7 guests, it can also be converted to a sleeping space for 2 adults. With its spacious layout and medieval atmosphere, it offers a warm and welcoming setting, in keeping with the character of the Logis. Featuring a striking pointed arch, this room also conceals a secret passage. It has 2 chair beds measuring 100×190 cm.
Salle de Guet
The watch tower is a spacious 30 m² room designed exclusively as a relaxation area. This is a living room within the keep rather than a bedroom. With its elevated position and unique atmosphere, this room is the perfect place to gather, chat or simply take in the peaceful surroundings.
During the summer months, the room is ideal for spending time together, with a large draughts board and a selection of fancy dress costumes for children.
The watch tower is open all year round, but the room retains its period atmosphere and has no heating. Its deliberately simple furnishings, consisting of a table and chairs, reflect the keep’s medieval character.
Living Room
The living room in Corps de Logis (main building) is a welcoming central space where guests can spend time together. If our optional breakfast is booked, it can be served in this area or outdoors. Guests are welcome to use the kitchen to make a cup of coffee or of herbal tea.
Shower room
Adjoining the keep, the shower room, accessed by a connecting walkway, has been designed for comfort and convenience.
